DeKalb E-Center Generously Donates Four Computers to Empower Neighbors at The Hope Center

Fort Payne – Logan LaGrange – August 22, 2023

Logan LeGrande and Diana Goss

In a significant step towards bridging the digital divide and enhancing the lives of our community members, DeKalb E-Center has graciously donated computers to The Hope Center, a cornerstone of empowerment under the Marked For Life Ministries umbrella. This donation exemplifies the true spirit of collaboration and community support, enabling us to better serve those facing homelessness, addiction, and food insecurity.

The generous contribution of computers from DeKalb E-Center marks a pivotal moment in our ongoing efforts to provide holistic support to our neighbors in need. These computers will play a pivotal role in equipping individuals with the digital skills and tools necessary to access educational resources, search for employment opportunities, connect with vital services, and communicate with loved ones – activities that are increasingly essential in today’s interconnected world.

“We are deeply grateful to DeKalb E-Center for their commitment to empowering our community through technology,” said Logan LeGrande, Executive Director of Marked For Life Ministries. “This donation aligns perfectly with our mission to uplift those facing adversity and to provide them with the tools they need to thrive. We believe that these computers will not only offer practical benefits but also foster a sense of dignity and empowerment among our neighbors.”

The Hope Center, an integral part of Marked For Life Ministries, has been a beacon of hope for our community, offering a safe space and a comprehensive range of services to individuals on their journey towards stability and independence. The addition of these computers will expand our capacity to provide digital literacy training, access to online job resources, virtual counseling sessions, and more, all of which contribute to the holistic well-being of the individuals we serve.

This collaboration with DeKalb E-Center underscores the importance of working together to address the multifaceted challenges faced by our community. As we move forward, Marked For Life Ministries remains dedicated to fostering partnerships that amplify our impact and create lasting change.
